Minimal food for you dollar. Upgrades not worth it and an expensive kids menu. Better flavors at Texas Road House at much better prices. The atmosphere was pleasant.
Fresh bread to start. I got the new Texas chili and it had a good flavor. The chili itself isn't spicy but they do havejalopenes in the bowl to have optional spice. Then the steak was very good of course. Our waitress was great (Chris).
This place totally has the best service and food and they are all so nice. Never had anything to complain about. Great job to managers and Staff!!!
Overall the food was good, but the service is hit or miss. The last time we went, had to ask for the bread, but once we got it, it was good and fresh. We also had to ask repeatedly for various things, such as our silverware or refills. The kids menu has a good selection for our children, and my kids enjoyed their macaroni and cheese and chicken tenders. Our experiences with the steak have varied, but that may be due to personal preference because we have experimented with different cuts.
I've gone to many different Longhorn Steakhouse restaurants, and this one is included in my worst experience, regretful to say. I'm not sure if it's the area or the place itself, but some of the staff here are not very educated and to put it in the nicest way I can...they're not 'diversity friendly.' The person who accompanied me here was the subject of stares and an unpleasant welcome. Thank you, Longhorn, for making my good friend feel horrible! Needless to say, I no longer see this particular wait staff/bartender working here any more when I had a working lunch here with coworkers the other day. Also, needless to say, I won't be going back after that. You guys need to get out of your small heads and learn something! Come on now.
